we'll be here on saturday, right? right.
come one, come all. this is the annual LGBT pride march in the country, happening in malate. for more details, check out the 2009 website taskforcepride.blogspot.com. it says 3pm but that's the convergence time. the actual march will move by 5pm. it's gonna be a night march. glowsticks!!!
my friends, my girlfriend and i will be marching with angladlad where the issue this year matters the most. just because we are LGBTs doesn't mean we are immoral and a threat to the youth as comelec said. we'll show them.
i'm a member of angladlad and i still believe in the group even if i didn't march with them for a few years. may kakaibang mga gimik kasi the past years kaya doon ako sumabak. there's the official upfi contingent last year and it was a blast kahit konti kami. the year before that, an all-woman contingent naman happened so natural naroon ako, kahit ako ay isang gay man trapped in a lesbian's body. ah basta! the year before that, doon ako sa angladlad sumama noong naka-all pink kami. all-white at yung mga I'Mmoral shirts naman ang get-up this year. asteeg.
excited din ako sa pride shirts na bibilhin ko sa friend kong nagbebenta. pati na rin sa isang preorder ko from abroad na pride bracelets. yiheee dami na naman pride accessories! ayuz... limas ang bulsa hehe. pero bet lang. talagang pinagkakagastusan ko itong panahong ito.
hoping to see old friends and new acquaintances there on saturday. iwas muna ko sa mga nega. sa panahong ito, di ko muna tinitignan kung sinaksak nila ko sa likod dati, nilaglag ang friendship namin o binalewala ang trabahong pinaghirapan ko for them o plainly nagga-grandstanding lang ang mga lolo't lola. iisa lang ang tinitignan kong kulay sa panahong ito, at sana ganun din sila. kung hindi, e di isa lang masasabi ko... kebs!!!! hehehe. basta ako, gorgeous at masaya.
