"hand in my pocket" by lola alanis, this time done the paolo santos way. akustik? eh ang tagal na nyang may live version nun noh. what's so diff about this one is that she came out recently pala with an acoustic version of her JAGGED LITTLE PILL album. hm. the quintessential alanis sound, for me, ended with her MTV UNPLUGGED album that produced two of my all-time alanis favorite songs: "no pressure over cappuccino" and "princes familiar" which didn't apear in any of the later albums (methinks, kasi after UNDER RUG SWEPT, i haven't been paying much attention to her. kasi naman e. maglabas ba naman ng carrier single na "hands clean" which sounded more like a paean to an underage lover she once had na younger than her who grew older at ngayon lang nya na-address ang issues that plagued their relasyon. or am i overreading? listen to the wordssssss!!!). kung di ko pa nadaanan yung standee sa sm north, di ko malalaman... as if i cared na noh. not anymore, i guess. or not that much...
well, i guess, like our musical influences, we move on, progress, grow old. hay, hard to swallow but easy to see. jagged little pill indeed. no wrinkles for me yet pero... wala lang. sometimes i feel old inside. inside, ha. pero napapagkamalan pa kong tinedyer sa dvd sellers sa poquiaps ha, i swear! haha. and this happened when i was buying such oldies as OKTOBER by sergei eisentstein, ROPE by alfred hitchcock, M by fritz lang and other classics... hehe.

punyeta pag nasa mtv, ang naririnig/nasisilayan ko lagi ay ang neverending sexual longings/fantasies ng mga hiphoppers at love eks ng mga emo bands. sa myx naman, mga opm remakes ever!!!!!!!!! ubus na ba ang chords sa gitara't piano kaya di na sila makapag-compose ng BAGONG KANTA????????????????? pero pag may bago naman, naman naman to death ang airplay! utang na loob ayoko nang marinig ang hale na yan. plis lang.

napanood niyo na yung CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY? nalimutan ko na yung libro pero vivid pa rin yung gene wilder-starrer noon kung saan nasa soundtrack niya yung "pure imagination" song. hm. i love tim burton pero his willy wonka looks like the salamat-po-happy-therapy-prozac-ized version ni edward scissorhands. pramis. is it me or is it johnny depp? ewan. basta feel ko lang yun. i was half-expecting winona ryder to come out in a lumen-surf-white fairy costume somewhere sa grassland ng factory...habang nag-i-isnow. lam mo yun? ewan. i've watched too many movies, is all, methinks.
