masarap ang food doon saka cozy ang place. dami ring parking kasi nga ginawa na yung area ng remedios circle. malapit lang yun dun. lalakarin lang.
you can bring your poetry or songs if you want to jam. if you want to pitch your ideas to the crowd, bring your manifestos and declarations. all ideologies and persuasions accepted as long as they are pro-(nice)people. :)

ideally, these women's multi-arts events gatherings are created to have a safe space for women to hang out and enjoy as they chill out to the music and words or art. but this is not to say that men aren't allowed. it's not exclusive; it's for open-minded people, is all.

iconic penguin café/gallery, the only relic of a once-bohemian malate, turns into a safe and cozy space for women who just want to chill out, have good (but cheap) drinks and food while listening to alternative groovy and thought-provoking music by today's truly talented crop of young women musicians.
guys are welcome, too, as long you support or embody these ideals :). why not.

open mic follows. feel free to read your literature or perform your composition. got an announcement to make or a manifesto to share? tara! sell your stuff and ideologies. it's a grand marketplace of ideas. intellectual and courageous wares very much needed, especially in this day and age.

salamat nga pala sa mga bago kong readers (hi jayme! ano'ng blog mo?) saka sa mga dadagdag na bagong readers na di nagko-comment (iwa! gawa mo ko "artist site" ha) saka sa mga patuloy na nagbabasa, tulad ng isang nagkomento dyan. hala, ayaw mong magpakilala e, ayan, chinorva ka ng blogboard ko hehehe. sino ka ba? hindi ako rich ha. asa pa. i wish!
haha may nag-react nga dun sa sinulat kong shifting to mac from pc. siguro nasasabi ko lang to kasi nakikita ko ang swabe ng final cut pro sa editing compared to pc-run software. kaya lang i still can't shake off how proprietary mac is (as if di proprietary ang pc hane? hehe) saka haller, puti lahat? ayoko kasi ng puting anything - bahay, kotse, damit, sapatos, appliance (except kung wala talagang choice). i just hate white. kaya di talaga ko na-enganyo, kahit gustong-gusto ko, sa ipod. saka mahal sya ati.
anyway, cinemalaya na next week sa ccp. see you there, rapporteur daw ako sabi ni doc nic. waaah. puwede bang manood na lang ng pelikula? yung isa dun, yung DONSOL na entry ni star cinema writer adolf alix, ay gagamitin daw yung BUTANDING music video ng pinikpikan na shinoot ko dati. for publicity. so abangan niyo yun. sabi nga ni emman, SARUNG BANGGI sequel ito. ah. hm. let's see. kami rin kasi nag-shoot ng video nun, also for pinikpikan. sayang at natanggal si khavn. gusto ko pa namang makita ang animation chorva niya. saka sina sigrid! makatarungan ba yun? ano na kaya nangyari sa kaso nila...?
